Bluemont Fair - Sept 20-21, 2008
Visit the STA booth at this annual country fair at the west end of the Turnpike from 10 am to 5 pm both days. STA T-shirts and historic maps of the Snickersville Turnpike will be offered for sale.
Bike, Hike and Tour-the-Pike - Oct 12, 2008
This year we are adding a free narrated tour of the entire Snickersville Turnpike on board the rubber-tired trolley from Virginia Ride, beginning at 10:15 AM. Or, join us for the up-to-ten-mile family fun Bike-the-Pike along the Turnpike (starts at 10 AM at the Bluemont Community Center). The third option is to participate in the up-to-three-mile Hike-the-Pike (starts t 10:10 AM). When finished, there will be music, entertainment and a picnic lunch and it's all FREE!
